World War Z is a third-person shooter video game created by Saber Interactive and published by Mad Dog Games. It was made available on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 16 April 2019 and the Nintendo Switch version was released on the 2nd November of 2021.

 It was made available on Google Stadia on 5 April 2022. It is loosely based on the book with the same title with the same world as the 2013 film adaptation. 

The game follows the adventures of four survivors of the zombie apocalypse within some of the major cities in New York, Jerusalem, Moscow, Tokyo, Marseille, Rome and Kamchatka.

Within World War Z, players battle massive numbers of zombies, gather various objects in the battlefield and meet various goals. As players progress through the game, new perks and weapons can be obtained for every class. 

Additionally, Local co-op on the same screen isn’t allowed in World War Z. To cooperate with other players’ users, they must play online.

Is World War Z any good game?

The way it is, World War Z is an extremely solid but boring effort. It is exactly what you’d expect without any hint of new ideas or styles. If you have a few friends to play this film with, you’ll be able to be entertained but it’s not one that you’ll remember for a long time.
