Cross-play is now available on all platforms, including PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Origin, Steam, and Nintendo Switch. In default, PC gamers will be only matched to PC players for matchmaking, whereas console players will match themselves.

1. Open Apex Legends

5. Select their profile in the drop-down menu
6. You’re now friends, and you can play against one another across platforms!

Be aware that the game will automatically search for any player with the same name on any system. When you search for a different player, you’ll need to choose a username compatible with the platform they play on.
