Is Worms Rumble Split Screen?
Worms Rumble features Team17’s deadly and lovable worms. This series shifts from turn-based combat to live action, shaking up the old formula. Is this a sign that old features such as local multiplayer have been removed? Is Worms Rumble able to offer split-screen multiplayer?

Split-Screen Local Multiplayer in Worms Rumble
Worms Rumble doesn’t have a split screen multiplayer mode. There is no local multiplayer. Two players can’t share the same screen.
Rumble is a departure from the norm for classic Worms fans. In previous series, two players could command a team against each other in turn-based combat.
Rumble isn’t turn-based. Instead, it is designed around real-time combat and can only be played online. You can’t play against your friend in multiplayer or bots.
There are many modes that players can choose from. Deathmatch is the default mode. This allows groups of single worms to compete for supremacy.
Last Worm Standing, a new battle royale mode where players compete to be the only survivor of the match, is called Last Worm Standing. Last Squad Standing allows you to compete with other worms in a group of three.
The crew at Team17 also has limited-time challenges and events to keep the action going. You can find unexpected challenges on the multiplayer screen. Completing them will give you rewards in the form new outfits, skins and emotes. Players can take turns in The Lab to try new strategies and weapons.

Worms Rumble split screen is not possible. There’s also no local multiplayer. Online play is required if you wish to take part in the fight. Cross-play is available, so you can play with your friends on PS4, PS5, or PC.
