Is Tiny Tina Split Screen?

Gearbox Software has expanded the Borderlands franchise to a greater extent by releasing Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. It is a spin-off from Borderlands 3, placing players in the middle of Tiny Tina’s own version of Dungeons and Dragons. Similar to the previous Borderlands games, players are able to decide to play the game by themselves or with a partner using splitting-screen options.

Split screen is an option for those who wish to play games with friends with a single console. It can however be somewhat confusing to activate within Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.

If players wish to allow split-screen, they must ensure that at minimum one additional controller is connected to their console. As of now, there are no split-screen options on computers. On consoles, gamers who play PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are able to use two players on a split screen. However, modern consoles can support up to four split screen players.

Once all the controllers you need are connected, go into the Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands menu and look to the left-hand side of the display. There’s an option which says “Add Split Screen,” which you’ll have to click. This will cause an “Splitscreen Join” pop-up to display.

In order to allow the second player to use the split screen feature the second player must press the “Okay” button within the pop-up with their controller. The pop-up won’t include the second controller if the first player shuts down the box by themselves. When there’s more split-screen users who want a seat, the procedure must be repeated for every participant.

Once each player is done to create their own character, they will have an option to choose. Two options will pop up while playing with co-op modes. The two options are Coopetition and Cooperation, which decide how rewards and loot are distributed on Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.

Coopetition implies that there’s only one loot drop available to every player, which means that the player who has taken all the loot that an enemy drops, other players aren’t able to get it. Cooperation mode, on other hand, allows every player their own unique loot drop , and rewards are given to each player on their own. During the game, it is up to the players to determine the mode that is best for their group.
