Many players felt that the first State of Decay did not offer co-op. Undead Labs has made it possible and State of Decay 2 now offers co-op. The game is ideal for lounging on the couch with a friend and searching for items. There are many survivors at your base so it wouldn’t be an issue if they wanted to create a character.

State of Decay 2 doesn’t offer couch co-op, so you won’t be able to play split-screen multiplayer. This title is another that forgoes local multiplayer in favor of focusing on the online part of the game.

Online co-op State of Decay 2 supports up to four players One player will have more freedom than the other. The host gets to choose all quests and the three other players are bound to them like a rubber band. While the host is free to roam, other co-op players can’t warp back to him if they go too far.

Is State of Decay 2 only for 2 players?

Multiplayer was not available in the first State of Decay, but it is now available in the second game. State of Decay 2 allows you to play with a friend and take on zombies together. What is the best way to play local co-op in State of Decay 2

You can hover below your profile to find the option. Click where it says Send Invite. This will open the Xbox friends tab. You can then find your friend and invite them into your game. This will allow you to play co-op with State of Decay 2 once they accept your invitation.
