Army of Two is a third-person shooter game developed and released by Electronic Arts and released on March 6, 2008, for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles. Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles. The game revolves around two mercenaries who fight through conflict, political chaos and a conspiracy that ran between 1993 and 2009.

The player has the option of upgrading his armor in order to get it more durable and more robust, however these upgrades can’t be bought and can be unlocked as players progress through the campaign. Players start out with basic body armor.

They can upgrade to Medium after they have completed an Afghanistan task, and then are given Heavy body armor following an Aircraft Carrier mission. They can also purchase and unlock new face masks , which the principal characters wear.

Army Of Two Co Op

The Co-op mode is not a feature of play in Army of Two. Servers were closed several years ago. But, two players are able to participate in local split screen or online cooperative throughout the campaign. Each participant earns their own money and is rewarded with cash bonuses for playing together.

(EA has announced that they will be closing its online servers for 12 demos and games including Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, Army Of Two and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 on the 11th of August. Madden NFL 10 and NHL 10’s online servers will end, with an earlier date of October 1.)

Why did EA stop making Army of Two?

The series was never able to achieve high scores and was considered to be an inferior game. However, the removal of the most popular features of fans resulted in the game being able to get a scant 260,000 copies in the world. In the end, low sales and negative reaction from critics and fans killed this Army of Two series.
