Is Anthem Split Screen?
Anthem is an online multiplayer role-playing game that allows you to play as a character in online action. It was developed by BioWare, and published by Electronic Arts. The game was released worldwide on February 22nd for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 & Xbox One.
Anthem is a third-person shooter that also includes action role-playing elements. It can be played with up to three players in a “contiguous open universe”. Each player assumes the role of a Freelancer, wearing fully customizable exosuits called Javelins.

Anthem does not support splitscreen multiplayer. Online multiplayer is the only way to team up with friends and family. You can play on your systems.
Splitscreen co-op multiplayer is not a common feature in AAA games, likely to disappoint some players. Anthem is an excellent example of this. Hardware struggles to cope with the multiple views of chaos, let alone splitscreen multiplayer.
Anthem will not receive a splitscreen multiplayer update for co-op in the future. For the foreseeable future, this will be an online-only coop title.
Should Anthem Get Crossplay?
Anthem, a BioWare game, is at risk of being dead and needs your help to stay alive. Anthem is in danger of dying and it’s not the best thing to do.
Platforms are becoming more integrated by allowing cross platform multiplayer. This eliminates barriers and allows players from all platforms to play. Crossplay is what makes Anthem stand out.
