Skate (stylized as skate.) is a video game that focuses on skateboarding that is available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and mobile phones. It was created in collaboration with EA Black Box and released in 2007. 

There are two sequels: Skate 2 and Skate 3 are out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in addition to Skate It, a spin-off for Wii, Nintendo DS and iOS platforms. In June of 2020, EA announced plans for the release of a brand new Skate game.

Which is better? Skate 2, or Skate 3?

Both came out for the same console however Skate 3 is better optimized and makes the most of Microsoft’s Xbox 360 capabilities. In addition although Skate has a grungy real-world feel throughout the map layout and color scheme, Skate 3 is more vibrant.

Is Skate 1 still good?

The original Skate, though, still stands as an incredibly satisfying skating experience. The player can’t get off of their board and run around like in Skate 2 and Skate 3.
