Is Hot Wheels Unleashed Crossplay?

Hot Wheels Unleashed is a racing video game that was developed released by Milestone in 2021 to promote Mattel’s Hot Wheels toy line. The game launched on Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows on September 30 2021.

Hot Wheels Unleashed is a racing game that lets you play as a 3rd-person character. The player controls Hot Wheels vehicles and races against other players on miniature tracks that are based on everyday locations and settings like kitchen, garage, and bedrooms.

The cars that are featured are customized in various ways. In the beginning game, the game can support the equivalent of 12 people online in a session, with 66 different vehicles.

Hot Wheels Unleashed is available right now, taking players on a journey through the past. Whether you like racing pint-sized cars, making tracks with the editor in the game and both, probably thinking about whether crossplay is available at the time of launch, and whether cross-platform support allows you to show your friends on different platforms which one is the best driver.

Like all games with internet-based components, Hot Wheels Unleashed crossplay could not just increase the number of participants you can compete against, but also ensure that the multiplayer lasts longer.

Hot Wheels: Unleashed Crossplay

However, Hot Wheels Unleashed cross-platform support isn’t yet available in the initial release, at least but not as a standard feature. Console players benefit from cross-generation play. This means that players who have the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S are able to play alongside their counterparts playing on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

For PC, Steam and Epic Games Store players are capable of playing against one another for a few hours, but that’s all there is. While Hot Wheels Crossplay Unleashed won’t be available at launch, having it added in the near future isn’t entirely beyond the possible.

“We’re not ruling out it in the near future, however it’s not yet a confirmed function,” the game’s official Facebook page stated in response to a user who asked that the feature be made available.
