Like Horizon Zero Dawn, Horizon Forbidden West is a strictly single-player experience. Horizon Zero Dawn does not have a split screen. Horizon Zero Dawn was the predecessor to Forbidden West. It was originally intended to be a cooperative game when development began. However, Guerilla Games decided to discontinue the project due to hardware limitations.
