Is Halo Wars 2 Split Screen?

Halo Wars 2 is the latest installment in the long-running series from Microsoft offering an action-packed story and a variety of multiplayer modes.

The game takes place two decades after the initial Halo Wars, as the team of Spirit of Fire wake up from a deep sleep. They discover themselves in the Forerunner’s mysterious installation known as The Ark, and encounter an enclave of the Covenant which is called the Banished. Since the team has no idea about ending the war between humans and Covenants, they find themselves in a battle with the aliens.

Fortunately, the entire campaign is playable in co-op with your partner or by yourself. Naturally, you’ll be asking yourself whether Halo Wars 2 has any sort of split screen that you can play with your pals.

Halo games come with split-screens for their campaign modes, Multiplayer, Forge… All the things you can accomplish with Halo with only one person, it’s possible to accomplish with two players working together. 343 Industries’ most recent launch, Halo Infinite, doesn’t include any Co-Operative Campaign capabilities and Forge is still under development.

At the moment, Halo Wars 2 does not include a split screen feature. You’ll have to stay with Xbox Live and online at the moment to enjoy multiplayer and co-op modes in the campaign. The Co-Op Adventure: Play the single-player campaign with your friend in co-op mode , or fight against the AI in a skirmish. Each player controls their own troops. The players share the bases and are responsible for constructing their own army using a pool of resources.
