Brawlout, a fighting game, was developed by Angry Mob Games and published by them for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. 

The game was first revealed at EVO 2016 in July 2016. It went into closed beta in December 2016. On April 20, 2017, the game was released in early access for Microsoft Windows.

Crossplay in Brawlout

Iliesiu explained that Brawlout is built using Unity and it’s easy for players to support the game across all platforms. He explained that cross-play in fighting games is difficult because you need a server for any cross-platform activity.
